Students in third grade need to begin to work on organizational skills. At home you can help them by reminding them to go through their book bags and look for important papers. Now is the time for them to take responsibility rather than you searching their bags nightly..
Believe me in the long run it is worth the practice now!
Third graders should read nightly, JUST RIGHT BOOKS. They should read 15-30 minutes. Of course additional time reading to them is always a treasure.
